My little GPS

I just had to write about how my kid is a frickin' genius.

For Valentine's Day we all went out to lunch in Old Town Clovis to a little restaurant, and then we went in search of a coffee shop we had been to last time we were there. Unfortunately, Valentine's Day was on a Sunday, and a whole lot of places in Clovis are closed on Sundays, this particular coffee shop included, so we went back to an icecream shop we'd gone past while we were looking for coffee. We went in, ordered the icecream we were all going to share, and then went outside to sit at one of the little tables. After a few minutes, Noah didn't want anymore icecream and wanted to get down and walk around. I set him down on the sidewalk, and off he went. I followed him partly because I wanted to see where he'd go, and also to keep him from walking out into the road if for some reason he decided to try that. He went down the sidewalk a little ways, and then turned left into a building. It's one of those things that has a roof over it, but it's open on either end, and you can enter shops through the doors on either side. Anyways, he turned to go through here and Josh says, "Hey! There's our car!" Noah walked all the way to our car all by himself. Guess he was ready to go home. :)
